Campaign Overview: Trade campaign to raise awareness of Branston during National Sandwich Week
A trade campaign was required to promote the brands participation in National Sandwich Week. The objective was to target catering staff and make some ‘front of house’ marketing noise, with the aim of endorsing the brand to the public and encouraging loyalty from the catering trade.
A national competition was launched and staff in delicatessens and sandwich bars all over the UK were asked to come up with recipes to create the ‘Best Branston Butty’.
Participating outlets were provided with specially designed promotional material including posters, serviettes and sandwich wrappers. The response was phenomenal! A photo shoot was organised of the winning ‘Best Branston Butty’ entry and the campaign achieved a double page spread in trade publication Sandwich and Snack News.
