Campaign Overview: Event management and publicity campaign
Carling, the UK’s number one lager was striving to introduce more of a lifestyle element to its footballing image with the aim of making the brand more accessible to non footballing consumers.
The brand joined forces with Loaded magazine and The Sun to run the highly successful ‘Good Work Fella’ celebrity awards. Following a media poll by The Sun the finals were held at a huge celebrity awards bash at the Savoy Hotel, followed by a party at Rock nightclub on London’s Embankment.
The event attracted huge media attention with front page coverage in several tabloids. The event was attended by stars including Ant & Dec, Billy Piper, Leslie Ash and All Saints.
